Throughout the year researchers open the trial fields to professionals of the landscape and nursery realms as well as those from academia, public agencies, horticultural societies, and master gardener programs. At the field days participants will rate the aesthetics of selected plant material. Through the field days we hope to expose participants to new plant material that they may grow, specifiy, or reccomend. Likwise we seek to gain a greater understanding in how participants view the aesthetics in order to contextualize our monthly ratings and irrigation recommendations.
